WORLD GREATS SET N

In February 2004 Corinthian launched the 2004 version of the Corinthian Collectors Club, with the membership packages containing exclusive product which was not available in any retail store, and it was not possible to purchase the World Greats from Corinthian direct either, they were only available as part of the membership package.

As was the case with the membership packages in the previous 3 years, there were 3 different levels of membership which were Silver, Gold and Platinum, with different figures available in each level of membership.

​

 

There are 4 Club Gold World Greats figures which were included in the Gold membership and made up Set N, all of which were first time sculpts. The Gold level membership also contained Set O, however I have decided to keep all sets on their own page.

Set N consisted of Roberto Bettega, who was a first time sculpt, in fact this version would never be released again, Bettega was part of the Juventus legends team pack, however that was an entirely different sculpt. Fellow Italian Marco Tardelli was released for the first time, painted in the Italy away kit, and like Bettega he would also feature in the Juventus Legends team pack, with the figure used being the exact same sculpt.

Another first time sculpt was Charlie George, here in the Arsenal away kit, he was later released in the Fan Favourites range in Arsenal home kit. Completing the set is German international Rudi Voller, here in the Roma home kit, a very fine sculpt complete with moustache. Voller would only be released once more, which would be in German national kit as part of the Corinthian Collector Club 2006 World Greats set.

All 4 were released in a Club Gold World Greats window box, on a Gold base and coming with collector card.
