Corinthian continued it's partnership with Japanese communication company JPhone and released a set of 3 Manchester United XL ProStars.

The figures were originally sold solely in Japan, however Corinthian did acquire limited stocks to sell to UK Collectors, making them available in April 2003.

The 3 figures are David Beckham, which was a repaint of the England Three Lions series with Mohican hair style, and limited to just 6504 pieces.

Roy Keane and Juan Sebastian Veron had their only XL release, with Keane limited to 6000 pieces and Veron 2800.

​

The XL figures are 15cm high and were released in a gift box which came with an individually numbered certificate of authenticity. Each XL figure was assigned a collector code which started with XL.
