MANCHESTER UNITED 2007/08 SERIES

Figures of Manchester United were always amongst the top selling product for Corinthian, so at the clubs request, they created a set of 4 figures packed into Manchester United style blister packs, with the figures being sold in the official Manchester United club shop in the later part of 2007.

There are 3 players in United 2007/08 home kit, with are Wayne Rooney, Cristiano Ronaldo and Gary Neville, with Sir Alex Ferguson completing the set. This sculpt of Rooney was the same as previously released in ProStars Series 33 & 35, with the Ronaldo first featuring in ProStars Series 34.

This was the first Manchester United blister pack release of Neville and Ferguson since the 1999 Treble Winners set, all other versions had featured as part of a team pack. All 4 came with a collector card and, as you might imagine, are incredibly rare and hard to find.

The end of the season saw a further 4 Manchester United club blisters released, with all 4 players in 2007/08 home kit. This was the first release of Anderson, with the sculpt later featuring as a Select 500 in away kit. Nani made his Corinthian debut, later being released in Portugal home kit in ProStars Series 39.

 

 

This sculpt of Michael Carrick was first seen in ProStars 35, while Nemanja Vidic was initially released in Prostars Series 36. All 4 were also released in the Manchester United 2007/08 Double Winners Team Pack.

The figures were released as single blister packs and came with collector card.
