CONVENTION 2008 SPECIAL GUEST

Corinthian held an annual convention which brought together collectors from all over the world. The Convention was the highlight of the collecting calendar and something which all collectors looked forward too, even if they were unable to attend the event personally.

 

 

Unfortunately the 2008 Corinthian Convention could not take place, however it did not prevent Corinthian from releasing it's special guest figure, well actually it was 3 figures and all of the same player, Paul Merson!

 

 

This was a brand new sculpt of Merson who would have attended the convention to personally sign blister packs had the event taken place, instead Corinthian got Paul to sign the back of the blister packs.

 

 

The production volume varied for the 3 club releases but all were very low, there were 993 Arsenal, 634 Middlesbrough and 638 Aston Villa blister packs made, with each one coming with an individually numbered collector card.
