DRAGAN STOJKOVIC SPECIAL EDITION

As it would transpire, this release would form part of the last set of ProStars that Corinthian would create exclusively for the Japanese market, bowing out in style by producing 4 brand new sculpts, with each player being released in home and away kit.

Dragan Stojkovic had been released before as a Japan special edition in the home and away kits of Serbia & Montenegro and also as a Japan special for Nagoya Grampus 8, however those were a different sculpt, this one was an all new sculpt, capturing the player in the earlier days of his career, with him in Red Star Belgrade 1990 home and away kit.

 

 

Corinthian produced 4,700 home kit blisters but only 2,700 away kit. Corinthian also produced Platinum Packs for both the home and away kit, with just 360 of each being made and coming with individually numbered collector card.

Corinthian always sought to ensure any product released in Japan was made available to UK collectors, however due to licencing issues this was not always possible. Corinthian were allowed to sell the Stojkovic figures, obtaining 500 of each blister to sell to UK collectors via Corinthian Direct.

The figures were released as single blister packs and came with individually numbered collector cards
