Corinthian always had success when selling figures from Juventus, with The Old Lady proving to have world wide popularity, so the decision was taken to do a Juventus Legends Pack.

The Juventus Legend Pack brings together 12 of the absolute best players to have graced the Stadio Dellealpi Stadium over the years, including 3 first time sculpts that would never be released again! The 3 first and only time sculpts are Giampiero Boniperti, Gaetano Scirea and Franco Causio, three terrific sculpts full of character and a must for any Juventus collection.

 

 

No Juventus Legends pack could be complete without legendary keeper Dino Zoff, the sculpt being the same as first seen in the Club Gold World Greats range, he is along side mercurial talent Zinedine Zidane in the 1997/98 home kit. Michel Platini is in the home kit worn for the 1985/86 season, the sculpt being the same as previously released Platini figures.

 

 

Roberto Bettega was first released in the Club Gold World Greats Set N, however that was an entirely different sculpt, the same is the case for John Charles, he was in Wales home and away kit as part of the Elite series, but this is an all new sculpt of the towering forward, with neither sculpt being used again.

 

 

Marco Tardelli and Claudio Gentile are in Juventus away kit worn fort he 1975/76 and 1980/81 seasons respectively, with the Tardelli being the same sculpt as first seen in the Club Gold World Greats Set N, while Gentile's only other appearance would be as part of the World Club Legends Series.

 

 

Completing the pack are 2 players in Yellow away kit, they are Paolo Rossi in 1984/85 away kit and Zbigniew Boniek in 1983/84 away kit, both had been released before in Juventus home kit, so it was pleasing to see Corinthian to paint them in an away kit, to offer something different to the long term collector.

 

 

Corinthian released the Juventus Legends Pack on the 4th December 2006, with just 2006 packs being produced and having an initial retail price of £45. Each pack came with 12 figures, 12 collector cards and a free platinum pack of one of the players, with just 167 of each platinum being produced, they are hard to find and a nice valuable set.
