Corinthian often had a feature dedicated to their figures in the monthly Match Of The Day magazine, called 'Corinthian News' which detailed the up coming ranges, covered past edtions and was a general update as to what was going on in the world of Corinthian, there was no Twitter or Facebook in those days!

To obtain the set of 4 figures, all you had to do was subscribed to the Match of the Day magazine and you would receive the full set as part of your subscription package.

​

 

The 4 figures are Alan Shearer, Tony Adams, Robbie Fowler and Dwight Yorke, all painted into their respective clubs 3rd kits for the 1998/99 season.

I have never felt these figures get as much attention as they perhaps warrant, a superb set of interesting kits with all 4 being top class players, i feel had the been produced in a special blister pack their collectability would have been greater, sachet product has never been viewed in the same light by collectors as other packaging formats.

​

 

The Match of the Day figures were available in a clear sachet and came with collector card.
